Dedicated to the memory of Allan Bicknell

My Dad Allan Bicknell died suddenly on 9th August 2010 at the age of just 60. Since his death our family has supported the RNLI as my Dad loved the sea and was a supporter of the charity visiting many of the lifeboat stations around the country.

Some of the money we have raised goes to the Hunstanton lifeboat as the crew kindly scattered Dad's ashes at sea in February 2011 just out from the lighthouse at Old Hunstanton where we have a memorial bench in front of the memorial garden near the lighthouse, a great spot to have a picnic and enjoy the view if ever you are visiting. My Dads name now also appears on the Wells-next-the-Sea Lifeboat, a present from my husband and another great way to keep dad's memory and legacy going, and whilst the RNLI save lives as sea in the new vessel my Dads name will be there.

Over the last 13 years I have been fundraising with the help and support of all my family and friends and have completed the London marathon, held several events: Auction nights, family prize bingo nights, race night, open gardens, online raffles, and Joshua & Katie (my son & daughter) were very proud to have completed the waendal walk in May 2014 & 2015 and lots more!

I must say a HUGE thank you to everyone for the support you have shown over the last 13 years. Whilst i am not actively fundraising at the moment I will maintain this page, so please do visit and donate on special occasions, write messages whenever you feel like it, light a candle and help keep Dads memory firmly alive and this amazing legacy building towards the £20,000.

Thanks for all your support is means the world to me and my family
