Today is the anniversary since my Dad was taken so suddenly from our family. It still feels surreal and i am sure it's something as a family we will never accept but will learn to cope with better. Allan Bicknell was a loving Son, Brother, Uncle, Husband, Dad and Grandad who always put other before himself. I am proud to say my Dad was the sort of person you would meet and instantly warm to, and he would do anything to help anyone. My son has a telescope and he lies in bed looking at the brightest stars in the sky and that's his Grandad.
